Please, make more cartoons. Don’t spend so much time perfecting the colors and the shading, etc. You have a unique talent to perfectly illustrate issues in cartoon form but you need to make more of them. I realize that you don’t have all the time in the world to be drawing cartoons but if you really wanted to expand and grow your business, you should A) Sketch a quick cartoon everyday and post it to social media with a trendy slogan or hashtag and I guarantee it would spread like wildfire. I’m talking like quick grease pen sketches on paper or sharpie or whatever you use. Quick 30 minute sketches that illustrate a problem. The website Reddit hosts Donald Trump’s largest online community with tens of thousands of active users at any point during the day and week. You should make an account, announce that it is you, and release the plan for a cartoon a day or week or whatever you wish to do. I just want you to get more exposure and have the real impact that your drawings are surely capable of. These would spread to facebook in an instant and probably national news outlets if only people saw them. Again, this is just me speaking but as someone who works in the marketing industry, your cartoons sit with young voters and older voters as well, which is what is so interesting about your work. It is aesthetically pleasing but also conveys a strong message. You are an incredibly talented artist and deserve to be heard.
Thanks, there is nothing I would love to do more, become a full time political cartoonist. Unless a big web site gives me a full time position as a cartoonist, I have to rely on my graphic design work to pay the bills. That took a big hit when I was being trolled heavily, but is starting to come back a bit. This is one of the reasons I started the patreon account, in order to go full time with the cartoons. Thanks for the quick sketch idea though, I will consider that!
